This is my third term at COCC. I have an Associate’s degree from Blue Mountain Community College in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s from Western Oregon University in Social Science. I have also studied photography at Stanford University.
Most of my IT work experience has been hands on as a self-learner. As an Executive Assistant most of my career, I have helped my coworkers with issues on their computers and smart phones. I have made suggestions on what to purchase. I am well experienced in MS Office products and look forward to learning more about security.
My major is the 1 year certificate in Computer and Information Sciences and I would like to have an emphasis in help desk, cyber- and network-security and IT-related employee and public trainings to combat phishing and scams directed toward employees to make cybersecurity practices a house hold name.
